Pure Cotton Drawstring Rugby Trousers

Like these trews but the draw strings are not in the correct position if you tighten the waist by pulling up the strings themiddle bit of the band slips below the strings when wearing. Like the straight leg style and general fit

There is no consistency in sizing between colours in this range, particularly in length! I usually find a size 14 short is ok for me, however the mink was up to 2 inches longer than the short fitting in the blue (and I tried all 3 pairs labelled as this size in the shop). They were also much baggier and a very different fit. If both colours had fitted, I would have bought both. I've noticed a lack of sizing consistency between colours within a particular style frequently in recent years (and judging by the comments made by other reviewers, I'm not the only one).

I liked these trousers for style etc but unfortunately the medium length were more like long length. I changed them to small and this was an improvement. Generally I can wear medium or small but in this instance the medium was about 4-5" too long.

Great comfy casual trousers, ideal for summer. You will get away with a size smaller than you normally get. If you get your usual size they'll feel too baggy and lumpy. Having gone from a size 16 down to a size 12 by sheer determination and healthy eating, I can't tell you the joy of buying a size 10 and it fits!!

I needed a pair of practical cotton trousers as part of my summer uniform as a dog trainer. I was hoping to find last year's combat trousers still in production but unfortunately these are not made any longer. I purchased these instead and they are OK but would be better without the elasticated waist and with a zip because as my job is very physical they do get baggy around the bottom and I have to keep pulling the rear of the waist back up. Fortunately as trousers are high-waisted there is no risk of any unfortunate exposure. They are comfortable though and do come in a longer length, and I had been unable to find a similar trouser in long length still available anywhere else. I have marked them only as average in all categories because they're just not quite as good in comparison to last year's combat trousers - please bring them back.

I was looking forward to receiving these trousers as I had previously purchased two other pairs last year. Unfortunately, these are a poorer quality and do not fit as comfortably as the other two pairs. If I had seen them in the store I would not have bought them.
