Open Front Textured Bolero

Haven't worn mine yet as the weather hasn't been sufficiently warm enough to contemplate wearing anything summery The sleeves are a little bit 'snug', and my arms are not huge, but it does go over tops with short sleeves. Will feel better over sleeveless tops/dresses/thin fabrics. I like the way it finishes at around waist level--quite flattering--and sits nicely over the bust without pulling. Also like the open work areas around the sleeves and hem. I always think it important that the back view is as flattering as the front and these details fit the bill. It would be nice to see this in other colours and maybe make the sleeves slightly larger in the biceps/armhole area and a couple of centimetres shorter in length so they sit just above the elbow joint

This is very pretty and a really good weight. What I liked most was that it is not too cropped and the front edges are shaped so that they sit closer together than a lot of non-fastening cardies and therefore it doesn't gape (as though the female chest is in the way) so I won't be forever pulling the edges together. A lovely bright white too. Hope it washes well. It will certainly be my forever go-to.

I'd been looking for just this sort of thing for some time, but nothing was quite right. This is perfect, light weight for over a summer dress but with sleeve length to cover older upper arms. I know that I shall wear it a lot if we ever get a summer! I vary between size 16/18 and the 18 was just right for me.

This is a quality item with a lovely silky texture. The photo doesn't really do it justice. It is a little pricey, though.

Lovely, lovely short cardigan, shame there were no other colours available. Perfect summer bolero to go over sleeveless dresses or tops.

I bought this in store today as I wanted a white bolero urgently and there was not much choice. Why are the designers not coming up with any original designs? I have the longer red version and they have just shortened that and made it a few colours. When Per Una first came it is was like a breath of fresh air with the stock changing every 6 weeks or so and not remakes. For me this brand is loosing it's sparkle so please get the designers to use their imagination and not just revamp last seasons stock. Back to the item I am reviewing: It is a nice bright white and the fit is true to size so I am sure I will get a lot of use from it but had I not been desperate and had more time I would of looked around to see what other stores had to offer.

No chance to wear it yet but I think it's lovely and fits very well. I'm sure I will be able to use this a lot come the summer - fingers crossed we get a good one!

I am very pleased with this purchase. More available colours would be appreciated as an excellent buy.

I am very pleased with the bolero. It is lightweight, just right to go over a summer dress, or blouse, without feeling bulky. The length is perfect. Well done M&S.

The online photo of this nice white bolero does not do it justice against a white background.The "cut out" effects along the hemline and shoulders are effective but oh dear---,haven`t we seen this before in the Autumn /Winter long line cardis in a few different colours?? As pretty and dressy as it is, I`m sure M&S could have come up with something a bit different for the Spring. Not being able to find a nice, dressy bolero /shrug in white elsewhere, I decided to purchase it. Its not too lightweight and lies really well at the front edges and does finish off a dress for the summer.I purchased the 16 to make sure the edges met rather than my usual14/16..Two seasons ago I had a lovely all over crochet white bolero from M&S and it was always remarked upon. A pity that the designers have not come up with something similar .It is over priced I think, for the amount of material used but having said that, I`m pleased to keep it and know it will go with all colours for the Summer season.
