Quality compromised by poor fixings
Timber construction good and product looks authentically pleasing. Self tapping Alan bolts provided poor quality and compromise effective assembly. Soft metal and shears when torq applied

Liked the look of this chunky two seater garden bench. Problem with one of the bolts/screws which wouldn't go in properly. Husband managed to find another long screw in his toolbox & fit it.

Great bench shame about the bolts

I purchased two benches for my daughter and son in laws birthday presents. The benches are good quality wood and look good however the bolts which have to be used for assembly are very cheap quality and the threads sheered on all bolts on both benches. Luckily my son in law had some which he could use as replacements

Bought this to replace an old one. My son in law said it was easy to assemble and it is a good looking solid bench - impressed with the quality and delivery from the supplier too. Although M&S email you a delivery date the suppliers get in touch and you can change to suit you. Very pleased.

Good quality for the price paid.
Overall finish good, well packaged. I needed to re-drill bolt holes with a 60mm drill bit in order to locate the fixing screws.
