[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 73 years, okay, 72 years, I walked at one year, I have several issues with my feet: Morton's Neuroma, a bunion, 4 formerly broken toes (two being the big toes) Ghost products have been a mainstay for me. My brother first introduced them to me several years ago. My podiatrist has Brooks products on the list she provides for different activities. would weeks ago I was in her office for an injection and she was wearing the same Ghost's, same color.

Digs into my ankle bone

The Ghost Max 3 could have been THE perfect sneaker for me if it weren't for the rubbing on the outside of my right ankle, near the tongue. This sneaker checked ALL the boxes I needed.... GREAT toe box roominess, perfect arch support (not too extreme), cushioned sole that isn't too squishy. It literally solved every foot problem I have BUT it dug under the bone of the outside of my right ankle with every stride. I am not a fan of the tongue shape either. It is too narrow and not long enough; taking away from extra padding in that area. Oh well, back to the drawing board. Such a shame because I truly loved how this sneaker fit.

Too much padding

I'm not as pleased as I have been in the past. While comfortable, there is too much padding which is not good for balance or steadiness. I much prefer the previous styles that had good support and comfort without all the extra padding that makes for an unstable base.

I am actually very disappointed in them. Not nearly as comfortable as my other pair of ghosts. I had bought them for trip in Europe and left them at home because they hurt my feet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shoe is very pretty but I’m finding the first few runs in them were great but once they got wet they don’t feel as supportive. They feel squishier and like the heel of the shoe isn’t as thick and cushioned as it was. I only have roughly 60 miles on them so far. My friend did say when we were running in the rain that it was weird that it almost looked like soap bubbles coming out of my shoe with every contact with the wet pavement. I don’t know if I’ll be getting this type of brooks again.

Years ago, my podiatrist told me my feet needed (and deserved!) Brooks shoes. He told me they would cushion and protect my feet and they have. I own many pairs and styles of Brooks shoes and I’ve never yet tried a pair that I didn’t love. They are worth every penny!

But there really is no break-in with these shoes. They are so comfortable. I want to buy another pair of these in a fun color versus the white that I got to wear to Italy. I highly recommend these.

Sizing is correct. Too much cushion taking away from the support.

I broke my ankle/foot almost 3 years ago, so I thought the extra cushion would be good. It took away from the support and I started getting shooting pains across the top of my foot.
