Ghost 17 Running Trainers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first received them , they were the stiffest Ghost pair ever, I use them only at the gym so it took a few try’s to get comfortable in them. I even went to our runners store in town to compare them with another identical pair. After that the are as awesome as all the ghosts I’ve bought in the past.

Love them and every pair of Brooks I’ve ever had :)

I've been a Ghost fan for many years (have gone through at least 4 pairs, Ghost 15 being the last) and have never had any issues until this version. The top of the shoe comes up significantly higher than previous versions so that the sides (which include a stiff plastic section for the upper laces) rub against my ankle. It is extremely uncomfortable, even just trying them on! Very sad since the Ghost has always been my go-to. I also tried the new Glycerin Flex and the Ghost Trail and they do the exact same thing. Need a running shoe that sits below the ankle, not rubs against it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not to be shallow, but these look GREAT! I got the ones that are pictured here, beyond looks, the cushioning is far better than previous Brooks. I left Brooks for Hoka last year because of the cushioning difference but you have clearly upped your game and won me back. 🙂

While I am no longer a runner, I still find these are the best shoes for me - whether I’m walking a few miles in the neighborhood or traveling through airports, they are my GO-TO shoes!

These fit like a glove. comfortable and I can walk for an hour and still be as comfortable as I was before I started.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 4th pair of Ghost and unfortunately I feel like the fit has changed. I love the look and color but the shoe seems very wide. Even with thick socks my foot seems to be sliding around. Not sure I’ll be keeping them.
