Cosy Raincoat

I bought this in the sale for £92, a considerable saving which has influenced my view. I have an earlier version of this coat and chose the teal colour which is not too bright. The fabric is now much thicker and stiffer which makes a noise when moving. It is cosy but still comfortable enough to wear out shopping without over heating. I'm 5' 7" and weigh 10st 5lb and find the size 12 ample enough for extra layers, there is draw cord to give some definition around the waist. The new detail around cuffs is a bit of a nuisance as it impedes my arms slipping into the sleeve and I'm not sure what is serves on a practical level because they can't be tightened unlike the original version.

I already have this coat in a khaki colour but couldn't resist it in the teal colour which thought would be great for the Spring. Very pleased to get it in the sale, it's a lovely coat and great for dog walks in the rain.

Lovely shape but inadequately lined sleeves

I really like the shape of this coat. The sleeves are a good length and I like the slit in the back back which can be fastened or left open. I haven’t tried it yet in heavy rain but hope it will keep me dry. My only disappointment - and the reason I have not given it 5 stars - is that the insulation in the arms is inadequate compared to the rest of the coat. On really cold days the fleecy lined body and hood are cuddly and really warm but my arms are freezing . I also fear that the thinly lined pockets will not stand the strain of having gloves, keys etc stuffed into them .

The jacket is really well designed and there are a lot of useful details. I’ve had it for a few weeks now and it’s been great in strong winds and rain. Last but not least, I’m 180cm tall and the sleeves and overall length is brilliant (size 18).

However the hood is fixed and cannot be removed as described. I am 5ft 1" and found the sleeves too long. As it was so nice and warm I have kept coat for winter.
