Cotton Rich Parka Jacket

it comes up small. I absolutley loved it, well made, gorgeous colour, lots of pockets but it felt a bit like a staright jacket. Go up at least one size.

I was looking for a blue lightweight waterproof coat that I can wear for dog walking on days when the weather is changeable and this is perfect. Fits well, the hood stays on even in stong winds and heavy rain

I love this jacket, I love the style, the way the buttons are on a lovely ribbon, the pockets, the generous hood, the lovely fit. But. The fabric! It’s slightly ‘fluffy’ and the navy jacket picks up everything. Every little bit of dust. Nightmare. Even brushing your hand down it leaves a mark. Took me ages to make it right in order to return it. Gutted as in all other aspects it’s exactly what I wanted. Note it’s true to size. I ordered a 16 to allow for a jumper but in fact my normal 14 would be perfect.

The jacket comes up very small.

Really liked this in both colours, particularly with the cotton rich fabric and thought it a good lightweight jacket for the warmer months. Unfortunately it was cut too tight for me across the chest even though I do not have a large bust. My problem area is usually my lower half but that was fine. I tried going up a size which was too big overall but it was still too tight at the top. I also tried the magenta as well as the navy in case it was cut differently, but it was just the same. Unfortunately therefore am having to return. I would recommend to anyone it fitted well.

It’s comfy, roomy enough for a jumper underneath. Good pockets that close with a button. It’s showerproof but not suitable in heavy rain.

I haven't actually worn it yet but I like the fit and feel of this jacket, and look forward to the next rainy day!

I wanted a cotton waterproof jacket as ones with nylon make me too hot . This is perfect , has great detailing, side pockets as well as patch pockets . I like the buttons which are attached with tape . I also purchased the navy blue at the same time as I wasn’t too sure about the pink being too bright , but it really is a lovely colour. I kept both jackets as I liked them so much ! I put the navy one to the test yesterday in the howling wind and rain and stayed perfectly dry . The zip closes up high so that it protects the face and the hood is adjustable . The waist is also adjustable if you like it cinched in.

It’s a nice lightweight jacket, if it fits.......I’m normally a 14/16 and the 16 in this jacket was not a good look! Way too small couldn’t even do it up, shorter than I would have liked and shorter than the impression the picture gives. My advice is order a few sizes to get the right fit. Disappointing and yet another waste of time ordering from M&S.

Hooray sensible amount of pockets for casual coat, but could have done with one small internal pocket. Haven't tried in rain yet but feels up to showerproof for sure. Poor design for hood, bad shape catches every breeze .

Very happy with this jacket. Lovely colour, great pockets and a sensible size hood, not like some hoods that come right over your face. Quite expensive for a lightweight summer jacket though.

I have been looking for a lightweight jacket for the warmer months since the beginning of the year. It has proved rather difficult and I have had to return jackets (to other retailers). This one however fits the bill and is a lovely colour too. I purchase jackets like this one size larger so that I can wear a sweater underneath on colder days.

Pleased jacket wasn’t too pink! Thought the attachment of the buttons by tape rather than thread was a nice styling touch.
