I read the reviews but thought give it a try, and low and behold I only have the lamp shade )-: Now progressing to find our where the other half is or return, refund and but a floor lamp elsewhere. Come on M&S get your act together, do you read these reviews and comments?

Love the style of this lamp. It’s unusual and classy looking. So well packaged and very easy to assemble..I’m very happy with it. The only little gripe I have is the positioning of the on/ off switch on the cable, partly due I admit, to where I have placed the lamp. It’s quite awkward getting to it. The shade is quite a bit darker than it appears online too but all in all very pleased with my purchase.

Love this floor lamp. Picked up from store easy assembly at home.. Really wanted a lighter coloured shade as the grey colour is too near the wall colour. But as purchased with 30% off I am able to buy a more suitable colour shade.

Lamp is fine, nothing special, but does the job neatly. There were significant problems with the purchase. Broken shade delivered without the lamp. Second broken shade and no lamp, collection from store...lamp only, finally on the fourth attempt I collected it all. Manager at Shoreham was great, but overall just trying to get this was a nightmare.

Sadly could not get the flex seated properly into the pole. Looked simple - to put together - no instructions - but I couldn’t get it to work.There were also scratches on the base of both poles.Sad as the design is good
