I remember one of my school friends going veggie around Christmas time and the perplexed, vaguely terrified response of her mum: “But… what will you eat?” Thankfully the days when a plate of roast potatoes and meat-free gravy would pass muster are long gone. I’m so pleased that M&S have more exciting options for veggies year after year, like our ricotta stacks, topped with mushrooms, leeks and kale, with a luxurious creamy white wine sauce. Don't just take it from me: they won 'best vegetarian main course' in this year's BBC Good Food Christmas Taste Awards. Merry Christmas.
