Who says the fondue has to be French? We've given this cheesy favourite a home-grown makeover with our new British cheese fondue, new in store now. It's made with a delicious blend of St Giles cheese, tangy Cornish Cove cheddar, and rich double Gloucester, with a splash of English white wine for added depth of flavour. Simply bake in the ceramic dish, then let guests dunk chunks of ciabatta or roasted new potatoes. This gorgeous cloth-wrapped cheese is made at Ford farm, in Somerset – one of the only farms in the UK that still makes its cheddar by hand – who M&S have a longstanding relationship with. The cheese is matured in Wookey Hole, giving it a distinct depth of flavour. Delicious with our wholegrain flatbreads, caramelised onion chutney, walnuts, fresh figs and a robust red wine, such as our rich, fruity chianti.
