Autograph Cotton & Silk Blend Small Bedspread

Lot's of reviews talk about it being too small for a king sized bed .... just measure and see if it suits you. Works great for me as a over the duvet, blanket style cover, for the cooler months. Beautifully soft. Beautiful colour (I chose the silver grey). Enjoying waking up to it each morning. can't comment on its durability as have only had it a week.

I bought this just to have on during the day, therefore it has never actually been 'used'. When I got it I thought it was meant to have smaller squares across the middle, but then I realised it was a fault. Because, I had designed my bedroom round the look and colour, I reordered it and took the first one back, the assistant called a manager who agreed that it was faulty and noted that some of the stitching was coming undone. She said it would definitely go back as a complaint. The replacement is not exactly the same colour and is not quite as thick, I don't think, and it appears to have loose stitching. I am writing to customer care about this. It comes just over half way down the sides of a 4'6' double bed and reaches from the headboard to the floor without any pillows under it.

Far to small for a king size bed

The effect of this bedspread is created by small stitches. After owning for a few weeks a number of these have become undone and in time I can see it losing its square pattern effect. What it will be like after it has been washed/cleaned I cannot say yet. A reel of cotton should be provided to re-stitch where the stitches have become undone. Having said that, we find it warm enough with just a cotton sheet. I feel somewhat disappointed with the quality of this bedspread in view of its cost. Still thinking of making a complaint about this item. Would be good it here were matching pillowcases to complete the effect

I bought this bedspread for our king size bed. It doesn't reach to the floor, as in the photo, but I was OK with this. However, I think it is really meant for a double bed. Having said that, it is a lovely quality, and has a beautiful silky sheen. Also, although it's padded, it is not heavy. I only gave this four stars, because of the size. It would be good if a king sized version could be made.

I knew that the size of this spread maybe slightly small for my king size bed but bought it anyway. However, that aside it is very soft and the silk edging is very nice. I purchased the silver coloured spread which is lovely. This item would have been perfect if it were bigger. I received 20% discount on this item but I still think the £160 I paid is still little steep. I will be keeping it and I hope that M&S will make this item in specific sizes as this one really is for a double size bed.

I bought this a while a go to go in my new bedroom. How ever after using it for a month the threads that make the pocket are comment away. I don't think it will last a year. A really bad buy for the price. Seriously thinking of taking it back.

Soft, sumptuous & very stylish. Great value, with 20% off. Unfortunately, not big enough for a Super Kingsize bed with a very deep M & S mattress on it. Needs to be at least 30cm wider, so had to be returned (very reluctantly).
