The Calverley Dress

I bought this dress as a present for my daughter. It looks really good on her and the fit is perfect.

The dress was only average on all counts. I couldn't say anything against it specifically (apart from the fact that it came up a bit small), but I sent it back nonetheless.

I bought this and wore it for a NYE party. It is absolutely gorgeous - lovely flattering flared fit and feels and moves beautifully. Please, please M&S make more clothes like this - being small it is hard for me to find anything that fits, but this is beautifully cut. Keep up the good work with Alexa!

This lovely dress is a perfect fit for my shape (straight up-&-down) and height (5`10"). The fabric has a silky feel and slight shine and it hangs beautifully in a most elegant way. I am a size 10/12 and had I bought on-line I would have favored a size 12 and been happy with that. I bought in-store however and found the size 10 to be much the more flattering fit. I am surprised that this dress has not yet sold-out like many other items in the wonderful Alexa Collection. This youthful and well thought-out range has been a delight with a clever combination of the pretty and the practical, which in very many instances combine & co-ordinate in a most attractive manner. I have bought other items from the Collection but there are still instances where I am sorry to have missed out; it has really been that good and the value has been exceptional

I so wanted to love this dress as it looks gorgeous and felt lovely too but the neck bust area didn't work for me. I'm a 32 D bust and am size 12 below so my narrow back and wider hips just didn't fit well. Such a shame

Photos do not do this justice. Lovely non creasing fabric although slightly too silky. Gorgeous swing and a good length not too short or long. Loved it!

Lovely shape and fabric, however the necktie came undone easily, as v silky and didnt fit me well on the bust, the 12 was too baggy and the 10 too tight and this part of the dress needs to fit just right.

As a very small person I was a little scared of the length of this dress but it is perfect! The dress itself feels better in than it does in the photo. It is a luxurious silk feel and you feel so rich wearing it. I love it! I love it more than the photo portrays it

I was pleasantly surprised by the material which is silky and lightweight and enables the dress to hang beautifully. It's a great length (I'm 5ft 4") and I think will be great for winter and summer alike. It's a simple silhouette but because it's well cut, it's very flattering. Am very pleased with it!

Bought this today really pleased, the fabric is really lovely very light but doesn't show all your underwear lines, A good length and I am 5 " 10 and falls beautifully. The halter neck facility is very accommodating as you can pull dress up higher in the bodice if you wish. Fantastic price well worth a try ladies .
