Pure Linen Jersey Printed V-Neck Midi Dress

Gorgeous dress with side pockets, a little thicker than i thought but great for spring.

This is a nice dress and fits me well as a petite, which is good as so many petite items may not be a good fit. I agree about the pockets sticking out a bit but decided to keep dress and deal with the pockets by stitching them in.

While I loved the material and the style of the dress, it had one big drawback - the pockets! These were very badly sewn into the dress, stuck out at the sides, the workmanship was very poor. It was as if the dress itself had been well put together, but another person had taken over to insert the pockets and did a bad job of it. I have not returned the dress as a dressmaker friend has removed the pockets and it is now a lovely dress. This is not however what I would expect from Whitestuff, and would in other circumstances have returned the dress.

This wad such a disappointment. I really liked the knitted jersey linen material and the colour, but the style of the dress wasn't at all flattering. The pockets appeared to sit right on the widest point of the hips and didn't lay flat. They may have improved if the dress was washed as the pocket material was quite stiff, but it wasn't a chance I was prepared to take so returned.

Lovely, comfortable, flattering dress. I bought the Petite size 10, just the right length for 5'2". I was surprised that it doesn't crease as it is 100% linen. The only thing wrong, and why I knocked a star off, was that the pockets stuck out and made it look like I had huge hips (I have 35" hips) so I sewed the seams up. Shame as I like a dress with pockets.

Love this dress, so comfortable and well made. I love the fact the clothing is true to size.

I was so happy with the Ellie dress when I first tried it on. The colour is fabulous and the dress fit perfectly but like the previous reviewer I found the pockets didn’t sit well and on a fairly fitted dress spoiled the overall effect. It really is a shame, if this could be altered by the manufacturer I would definitely buy it again as it really suited me.

I bought this dress and it fits really well, it was a little bit longer than I thought but is acceptable.

I love the fabric and really wanted to love the dress. Unfortunately it’s let down by the pockets sticking out a bit. I did consider stitching them shut but it’s not a cheap dress so very reluctantly returned it. If not for the pockets it would be great.
