Pure Linen Collared Ruffle Shirt

Nice longline length, linen shirt which hangs well. The front frills are a tad fiddly to iron but I got there!! I immediately washed it to often the linen a little.

I am always nervous ordering linen garments due to textures that don't always look like they do online. This didn't disappoint. I look forward to wearing it for many years to come.

I’d sent for M&S cotton mini beach dress, also reduced in sale, to wear as a top. It was hard to decide between them. The appliqué on the long-sleeved beach dress was beautiful. However this shirt won out as would be worn more. The sleeves are slim enough to wear under things. The soft ruffle lifts the style, making it more special. I like that I can button it right up if I want. Whilst I have loads of linen few button up and I don’t like sun making me itchy. The material is soft. The back is plain. It is the ruffle that makes it. Arrived poorly packed so I am hoping that is why it arrived so wrinkled, even for linen. Ironing it dry had little impact but I hope that will improve when I wash it.

A more relaxed take of the classic ruffle blouse, this shirt will be useful for lots of things- it'll look great with jeans, a leather midi or party trousers.
