At last - not quite a boot and a bit more than a shoe, Perfect. And so very comfortable too. On the very first day I wore them for 5 hours and walked for over 4 miles without hesitation. I'm off to get the tan ones next!!

Generally wear flat ankle boots in the winter, but liked the look of these so gave them a try ... Amazing ... Really comfortable, nice height of heel so looks a bit more dressy than flats. Would highly recommend.

Tried both size 4.1/2 and 4 both were too big. I am usually able to wear Foxglove 4.1/2 but the size must be different on these particular shoes. Was most disappointed as I am wanting a pair of brown shoes.

The shoes look great, the fit is perfect and they are fairly comfy. However the leather was a bit on the stiff side and I was expecting them to be a bit softer, that said though I hope they soften in time as they look great.

I have these in black (a replacement for a similar M&S pair bought years ago and worn to death)and they are so comfortable and versatile I could not resist the brown ones in the 20% off promotion. One of the black pair had rubbed my heel initially but these were comfortable from the start. Great to be able to buy size 3/3.5 easily too.

Now have them in brown as well as black. I do appreciate the half sizes as often have to go up to a 5 in other stores. I would say the the "extremely soft and supple leather" as described is rather exaggerated, but they are comfortable. Nice heel height for under trousers.

I tried these on in a 5 which is my usual size but they were a bit tight so ordered a 5.5 online. These were a better fit but they seemed to be high in the heel and hurt immediately. Sadly, had to return them. Try them on before you buy.

I found these too wide and my feet slipped around in them. Also, having worn them out on say shopping trips and so on I actually found them very uncomfortable. So, can't really agree with what other reviewers have said.

It took me forever to get hold of of a pair of these in 5.5 black because they were always sold out. But when I finally got hold of them, they made my feet look too long and were a bit too geek chic for me...OK if your trousers cover most of the shoe. Very very comfortable though.

What a lovely pair of shoes , wore them to work for the first time yesterday ( on my feet 8+hrs) and they were so comfortable , give a lot of support to the foot and heel , look smart and feel great, well worth the money , look good with trousers and a skirt . I hope they keep them in stock for many years .

Wow! I love the style of these shoes. They look very elegant and dressy with my trousers. My usual size fitted perfectly even though I have wide feet and suffer from bunions. A lovely shoe to wear, so good that I bought them in both the brown and the black. The brown is a lovely warm shade and goes very well with my jeans. They're such lovely shoes, that I reckon they'll sell very well, so buy a pair if they are still available in your size. You won't be disappointed! Nice height of heel.
