After having these socks for a month, I have now decided to leave a review. They are nice and comfy to wear, and warm and they have washed well but they have been worn 5 times and there is a hole in both socks in the toe area. Very poor value for money, in the landfill bin they go!

The wool feels slightly scratchy on first wearing, though not enough to really irritate, but definitely warmer than most socks, and the right length.

I bought these socks thinking they would be the usual high quality M&S product, but one pair went in the bin as a hole developed in the toe the first time I wore them. I am now wearing the second pair and it looks like the same fault is happening. As far as the warmth is concerned, I have had better. The only reason I have not returned them is because I no longer have the receipt. Altogether rubbish.

Nice to find socks with a good percentage of wool in them. Have washed them once so far and they seem to be surviving - no shrinking or going hard. Time will tell. Husband happy (which is always a good thing ;) )
