Set of 6 Plain Mugs

My son bought his first new house in Blackheath late last summer. My husband and I flew over to help him get established! We raced into M&S to buy some basics as he was emphatic about choosing his own household items. We bought a few beakers, plates, glasses and some place mats. The beakers were only a £1 each. To my surprise,I liked drinking out of them as did everyone else. I certainly didn’t need to buy any for ourselves but saw that they were on sale for £4for 6. I ordered 2 lots of them and put one set into our mobile home and the other set into our home. I am drinking coffee from one now as I sit in the garden on the swing...enjoying the beautiful summer weather. That all said, these beakers are a gift at this price. Excellent quality, size and feel. I detest cups / mugs that have tiny handles...thee are perfect in size.. I can’t imagine that they will be available for long but if you read this, order immediately! You will be delighted as are we.

I thought I was buying a duplicate set of mugs we already have, but the size is different and so is the colour. That's my fault for buying on line and the colour tones well with the originals so I'm keeping them. The other mugs have been in continuous use for months and have stood up well to the dishwasher. But after a week's use, one mug in the new set has a flaking bottom in two places where there's a fault in the firing or glazing and the colour is thin on the rim. All other mugs in good condition and really good value. I shall be taking the faulty mug back. I should have checked them when I picked them up from the in-store collection point.

We have bought these to replace the existing ones we have in our house in Cornwall. Got them in the sale so less than a pound each which is brilliant vfm. The colour is perfect for our seaside home and I’m sure they will add a touch of coastal style

Great everyday mugs, good colours to mix with any colours. Not M and S best quality china but at such a low price you wouldn't expect them to be! Very pleased with them.

These mugs are great quality, and excellent value for money. Look great in contemporary flat.

These mugs were purchased to replace a set of ageing mugs and match up with our Grey Denby plates the quality of the mugs is excellent and the price was more than reasonable if we need any more we would definitely purchase these again

Nice shape, thickness, size and feel. Purchased with 20% off so can’t go wrong really with six mugs for £4.80! Would buy again if needed mug - more variety of colours would be nice!
