These bedside tables look cheap and are yellow not a natural colour. I have kept them as they are for my childrens rooms but I definitely would not have bought them if I'd seen them first.

I made the mistake of buying online without having seen the chests in a shop - the wood feels and looks on the cheap side. The height and shape however are perfect if you need a compact size.

Having bought a huge bed I had limited space for side tables. These were perfect. Enough room for a couple of lotions and hand creams on one side and a reading lamp on the other, with tiny drawers-adequate for a few essentials and a shelf at the bottom for a few books . It is adequate.

the perfect fit

Space is at a premium for the guest bedroom which has a sloping roof. The bed takes up most of the space along one wall, so little room for bedside tables. The two Hastings compact bedside chests are just perfect , it is if they were made for the space.
