Annoying to build the little plants, but looks incredible when finished. Wished there was a somewhere in the build to store the weapons.

Very nice when built but little expensive

This is one of those collector sets that are really aimed for the Star Wars enthusiasts especially the older collectors who appreciate those classic scenes. I bought this while on offer as I though it was a little dear but I’m glad I did because it is presented nicely, comes with an instruction book that contains a lot of other very interesting and thoughtful Star Wars movie and behind the scenes related information that enthusiasts would be really happy to read through. The final build is really nice and the type of thing you would really display rather than add to a setup or play with. The trees are quite generously tall and wide and there is quite a lot of foliage that really sets it off. The speeders are slightly different as you can see and the minifigures have their camo gear just like in the film. It is a really well thought about build but there are some very fiddly bits like getting the speeders balanced in the right position and they do easily fall of the stands and some of the foliage pops off while getting it all in place too but it do look good when you get it right. I don’t think I’d buy all of these anniversary sets due to the price and some seem a little like adult mini builds that I couldn’t justify buying for the reason that I prefer to use builds in scenes and other setups and these are really for display but for the enthusiast it is a nice package with some nice info too. If this wasn’t on offer at the time I bought it I may not have done but I’m glad I had the opportunity to experience one of these anniversary builds and this is probably my favourite one. If it’s still available and on offer I’d say go for it definitely. Thank you.

Good but a little hard to build the bricks won’t stink together

Oh no! Sometimes there may be a piece just a little off from where it should be. If you'd like a hand troubleshooting the build or if you find that any pieces aren't holding together as they should, feel free to give us a shout at LEGO.build/Service-BV so we can help!
Speeder Bikes!

Return of the Jedi was the first movie I ever saw in a theater and was my favorite Star Wars movie for years so I had to grab this one. This was a nice build, and it’s a nice display of the Endor forest. The speeder bikes look fantastic, although it’s hard getting the figures to sit on them without making their legs prone. The biker scout is a nicely designed figure. It’s a quick build and a bit pricey for what you get, but it does look nice on display.

Poor quality control

I purchased the set on sell, I was excited to build it. When I opened up the bags all the black pieces looked like they were used, scuff scratched and little faded. The building experience was okay I would have to say this is one of my least favorite sets after having constructed it. I am very dissatisfied with the quality of the pieces, if we're spending this kind of money on Lego we should not get faded scratched all pieces.

Decent set, for a sale price

This set has dropped in a lot of stores for a more reasonable price. It's an okay set but most of the building is placing grass on the ground. Not the most exciting. The angle of the speeders is also a problem, unless you modify the clear mounts the speeders sit at an awkward angle and the Minifigures faces aren't visible. The Luke/Leia speeder is not visible in a straight on view because one of the trees is in the way which makes it bad to display. You'd have to set the rectangular base crooked on a shelf to see the whole set. Also the printed ponchos are a downgrade compared to just using cloth ones in my opinion. if they just did the poncho you would basically get two Luke figures in one set since he wears the regular ROTJ black underneath. It's an okay set of you're a big fan of this scene in the movie and find it ON SALE but for full price I would save your money.

Great concept, poor execution

While I do like this set it leaves a lot to be desired. My biggest issues with it are the speeder bikes. The angle at which they sit is utterly ridiculous, they look like they're going to fall over. My other issue with them is that I could not get the mini figures to sit properly on them without being all wonky. I feel like this set needed to be larger to accommodate the size of the trees and bikes together. I wouldn't really recommend this set unless you're a die hard fan of this scene from the movie or you have some VIP points to burn on discounts.

Overall, a Good Set

Overall, this is a good a set. I have a couple of the other Star Wars dioramas and this one looks good on a shelf with the others. The only problem I had with this set is the angle the speeders sit at. It isn't the same as it is in the pictures on the box, so I decided to place them level instead.

A great all round set for fans and hobbyist alike

Built it with Return of the Jedi on in the background, it is not a complicated build but it is complex enough to allow you to customise it in your own way in terms of character and vehicle placement. Thoroughly enjoyed it! Great placement for a display piece.

The speeder bikes are by far the most well designed Lego has come up with yet, the trees and foliage are nice, and I love the three figures.

This set is very detailed, a lot of it is lost due to the small base setting. It would be better if the base was a bit larger. It would also allow the play setting to expand into various scenes from the movie

I was excited to receive this set and started as soon as it arrived. I was extremely disappointed. I could never get the speeders to look just right on the sticks that were sent. Every time I tried I would knock pieces of foliage off the diorama. After it was finally put together it looked as though it had pieces of foliage missing because it just needed more. This build had left me hesitant to buy the other dioramas that go with the Star Wars series.

The Worst Lego I Have Ever Done

I have been building Lego sets since the mid 80’s and this one takes the cake as the worst one I’ve built. Upon completion, it’s not sturdy. The trees and plants easily fall over. The speeders are weak. The mini figures are bored. We’ve been had.
