Great product, good for Halloween display. The Stand should be a little wider

I'm not a Harry Potter fan but when I heard that there's a set that talks I knew I had to get my hands on it. The build experience was quite enjoyable and the build techniques used to make the hat talk are outstanding. I highly reccoment this set!

We like lego for gifts for our grandkids as it is not only a toy but a learning tool - and it keeps the kids away from wanting to play on electronic devices

The is an excellent build, with a very clever little surprise! Having the house founder objects in the hat was a nice touch. I would change 2 things. First STICKERS!!! Lego, please stop it with the stickers. And second there is a green stud that is used to represent the locket of slytherin. Lego has a locket of slytherin stud that came with the common room banner set. I swapped it out with that part. Lego, perhaps you would concider doing the same

When I first saw this product, I was so excited. It was a fairly quick build for me, but so much fun! The face on the hat is amazing and I love it. Took it to work so everyone on my team could get sorted. What a great purchase.

This was a build my son and I worked on. It was a lot of fun. It was challenging enough for him and it turned into a wonderful piece for me.

Great set, missing pieces

This set is so cool! Sadly, I only got to the second bag when I was stopped by 4 missing pieces. Thankfully my son and I had some extra pieces so I could continue building. I got all the way to the very end and I ran into two more missing pieces. Needless to say, quality control is lacking. However, the set as a whole was pretty fun.

We're sorry to hear your Talking Sorting Hat™ set was missing pieces. If you haven't already, get in touch at LEGO.build/Service-BV. We'll request the missing parts, including the ones your son found in his extra parts!
Disappointed

I was slightly disappointed in the size of the hat but got over that as I was building. Was a fun build. What really disappoints me is that you have to put it on your head to hear it "talk". The tipping of the hat does not work.

The sorting hat. Looked much larger than what it was. Not a complicated build and love the interaction feature. A must have for HP fans.

Always excited to see new Harry Potter sets that can be added in. Hope to see the Durmstrang ship coming out. They are fun and entertaining to put together and learn how to use your imagination
