Pretty shocked on this one. Lego has always made really sturdy builds . The last couple monster trucks ,the tops are so quick to come loose. This one if I knew rubber bands were the shocks would have never bought this. I expected way better out of you guys. Cheap way to make more profit but your going to ruin the lego name like this.

I bought this for my son and had high hopes of teaching him about suspension linkages etc. The vehicle is shown to be a playable item. But in truth play is frustrating as the screen area is lightly held in place and comes away too easily around the natural hand placement area. The suspension, whilst fun is incredibly weak and the wheel and arms are forever falling off due to the lack of support on the pivot point which although easy to reassemble lead to him becoming bored with the toy early on. This could be cured by a longer pivot pin and another locking part to restrain it. But I imagine once the bands are gone it's going to sit limply on the shelf. Spare bands would have been nice. I do love the bikes, and the newer mtb helmets are great and I find my boy playing with the camp area more than the car which at least brings some value back to the kit. I feel with some small tweaks to the kit it would be amazing. But it's not quite as advertised. And I'm not expecting it to be tough, but when all wheels and arms fall off when dropped from around 30cm lightly onto carpet..its not really playable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a very fun set. My 4 and 8 year old put this together in about a half hour and they love it. We like how simple the build is. Since it's a simple build, it is easy to rebuild when it gets broken. It's not one of those builds that take forever to put together, and then you're afraid to actually play with it

Great set! I like the different headlight options and I was able to adjust the truck's suspension to a more reasonable look. The fact that it functioned just fine after my mod was a plus.

The off-road truck with the moving suspension is a really cool feature that differentiates it from other sets and enhances it. The set was fairly easy to build and the instructions are very clear and easy to follow.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are a Lego house. I love legos because my boys learn to follow easy directions to finish projects on their own. We still stick to smaller builds that don’t take more than an hour. My boy finished this in about 45 minutes. I only helped to remove a stuck piece he accidentally placed wrong. He loved, loved, loved the rubber band attachment to make it move up and down. The first Lego set he’s had that moved like this did. The directions are easy to follow and it takes the perfect amount of time where they don’t get too frustrated or bored. He’d love to find more sets like this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I saw this set my heart fluttered because my son is obsessed with anything 4x4, big trucks, motorcycles, etc. This is absolutely the cutest lego set - maybe one of my favorites I have seen. I love that it comes with a whole set for adventures - the tent, ramp, fire, animals and two men. I can not tell you how much joy this has brought my son.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son LOVES Lego! This 4x4 Off-Roader Adventures kit is no exception. Not only was putting the off roader easy to do with very understandable instructions, he created a whole camping and play adventure with the tent, back drop, fireplace with cooking pan and the silly little rabbit...he was diggin' it! Quality parts, of course, with rubber band suspension this Lego went all through the snow and all over the house. Easy enough for a 6 year old but challenging enough for older kids, too. SO much fun!
