La Patisserie Bakery Play Set (3-7 Yrs)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So we all know and love Melissa and Doug products especially since their quality is unparalleled. I have three little children ages five, three, and 20 months. All three of them absolutely loved this set. My three-year-old is on the Spectrum and is very sensory and he loved the velcro portions on the cupcakes. One of the things I appreciate the most about Melissa and Doug products is that they're made of good quality materials. He also likes putting things in his mouth and often chews on his toys, resulting in him breaking them and occasionally getting wood chips in his mouth. Never once has that happened with Melissa and Doug products. My 5-year-old loved pretending that he opened his own Bakery and was selling us products. My 20-month-old favored the fake register with the etch and sketch type of screen. Bonus points for the fact that it came already assembled. What more could a mom ask for.

Love that she can interchange the toppings in the cupcakes and cookies, and roll the croissants and cinnamon rolls

We own a couple Melissa and Doug toys and our girls absolutely love playing pretend with them! This bakery has everything you could think of and more. From the mixer with attachments, a menu, a variety of bake goods and even a table for checking out the order. My girls were so excited to play with this, they could hardly contain their excitement. I would highly recommend this to friends and family and anyone who knows a little/ young one who loves to pretend and bake.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids were so excited when this came in the mail. My 10, 6, and 3 year old immediately had to inbox and set it up. They played for hours with it! As well as my 9 year old niece and 4 year old nephew. It is made very well and has new "technology" like a credit card and card reader which is nice. I love that it can help kids use their imagination. Imaginative play is so important and this toy is a great one for that. I do wish it was a bit taller or maybe we should just put it up on a table next time.

As soon as I took it out of the box (there is absolutely minimal setup required), my kids aged 4 and 6 got right to work. There are different attachments for the stand mixer (a whisk and a dough hook) for the kids to "make" different bakery items. There are cinnamon rolls and a croissant to roll up, with hook-and-loop attachments to keep them securely rolled. There are different toppings to put on the cupcakes and cookies, a cash register... the possibilities are endless when you add imagination into the mix. I love that the set is made out of wood, and is durable to withstand little hands and a bit of rough play.

Has a serving tray with four take apart patisserie. Two cinnamon rolls and a Croissant. A mixer for mixing a cake mix and many other items. My children love baking for my husband and I with this set. Hour of pretend play. I really like that it's made of nice study wood and has very detailed paint. Worth every penny knowing the quality is great and the set will last a long time.

I have ordered another set of the Melissa sn Doug sets because these are made awesome an years of play. !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids thought it was Christmas in July when they came into the playroom and discovered their new bake shop. My 6 year old and my 3 year old were so engrossed in playing, that I had to check on them over the multiple hours that they played and make sure they were still there. The various accessories allow for them to play multiple roles and try different things. They love the mixer and making the cinnamon buns and croissants, it makes them feel like they are really creating treats. The only part my children argue over is who gets to run the checkout each time. Get this is you are in need of some quiet time but can't send the kids out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy has to be one of the BEST Melissa & Doug has released.I have 4 girls aged from 8 to 3 an the first night we opened this,it kept them all busy for atleast a couple hours.Not to mention it's quality is above an beyond 80% of other toys.Basically if you have 1 child or multiple this little bakery will spark their imagination an create hours of play!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 3 year old loved it! I feel like the color scheme was a little feminine. But he sits and plays with it for hours. When I first opened the box he was so excited to make cupcakes for mom! I like that this toy does not have any annoying sounds, no clicking when you turn the oven "on" etc. it's a great imaginative toy
