South Australia’s Clare Valley is one of the country’s oldest wine regions, home to a diverse array of terroirs. The grapes for this wine grew in valley vineyards at around 500 metres high, where they achieve excellent balance. Winemakers Kevin Mitchell and Barry Kooij aged the wine in French oak for 18 months.
