Whether you’re planning a celebration meal or sizzling up a midweek supper, we have British steaks to suit. Take the beef from our frozen meat aisle, for example, or our fresh beef steaks – all are fully traceable back to the farm and animal of origin. Thanks to the work of our expert butchers, all of our steaks are fully trimmed and offer a balance of succulent marbled meat and melting fat. For a speedy meal, serve yours up with some frozen chips and prepared vegetables and sides, such as buttery peas or creamed spinach.
You’ll find all of the classic cuts among our steaks, each of which has its own distinctive flavour and character. Fillet steaks from traditional breeds such as Aberdeen Angus are renowned for being lean and delicately flavoured. If you favour a more robust taste, opt for thick-cut sirloin steaks. Well-marbled ribeye steaks are sweet and juicy. For the best results, cook yours medium and leave time for resting. Wagyu beef is your go-to for some luxury – ours is 30-day aged, so you can be sure of exceptional tenderness. A dollop of hot mustard or creamed horseradish sauce from our selection of table sauces is the perfect accompaniment.
