Embellished Opaque Tights

Excited to open these lovely smooth sparkly tights. Seemed nice quality. BUT, THEY ONLY HAVE SPARKLES DOWN THE FRONT . . . description says 'all over' I returned them. BooHoo

But was very disappointed when i realised the beautiful embellishment is only down the front section of the tights.

I bought these tights without previously reading reviews. Having unpacked them, I was very surprised that the sparkly bits are only on the front. I can understand that having them on the back of the thighs might be uncomfortable when sitting down, however, I wouldn’t have bought them had I known. There is nothing on the packaging that shows the backs are plain, and I think they will look odd. What a shame, and a waste of my money. Incidentally, the wording on the website states ‘......diamanté beads scattered all over.......’ - clearly this is not true!!

I love these tights! I bought them for the festive season and have worn them first to sing in a concert with my choir where the dress code was 'black and sparkly'. They fitted the bill perfectly! I had lots of compliments. Comfortable to wear, eye-catching without making me feel overdressed (or too 'young' - I'm 40), and the diamantes and black beads didn't 'catch' on each other or other materials. Please note that the beads are only down the front of the legs (as shown in the photos on the item's page on the M&S website), not the backs too - this is fine, it might be uncomfortable to sit on if they were all around the backs of the thighs! I have only worn the tights once so far, for an evening, so my rating for durability is only based on that.
