  • Boiled – Whether you like a jammy egg with a soft yolk or a firm, hard-boiled egg, boiling is one of the easiest ways to cook an egg.

  • Fried – A fried egg with crisp, lacy edges and a runny yolk makes a great breakfast and even takes burgers to the next level.

  • Poached – A more elegant option, try adding a poached egg on top of avocado toast or ribbons of smoked salmon.

  • Scrambled – Adding a splash of milk to your eggs before scrambling not only results in a deliciously light and fluffy texture but also stretches your eggs a bit further.

  • Omelette – A delicate omelette can be upgraded with anything from melty cheese to chunks of ham and hearty veggies.

Can you freeze eggs?

Yes, freezing eggs is a great way to cut down on waste. To freeze your eggs, break them into a bowl and whisk together, then pour into a freezer container. Pro tip: ice cube trays are great for dividing the mix into smaller portions. It’s not advised to freeze eggs with the shell on, as the white and yolk will expand when frozen and crack the shell. You can also freeze egg whites and yolks separately. Just add a teaspoon of salt or sugar to the yolks to prevent them from changing texture.
