SO FAR? PERfect
Yes, I recommend this
OK, so it's only a can opener, but I've managed to go through 2 (heavy metal types) in the past 3 years, and that's with 1 being guaranteed for life, the second a 5 year warranty I believe...and BOTH failed when the cutting wheel fell off on both. Both from a major high street retailer (on-line sale) and both costing a good 50% more this M&S offering. And when you consider SO many cans are ring-pulls these days, that's just plain crazy. SO...I had a look around, and found this (strangely short) M&S opener, and the first time I used it (with my big hands BTW) I was impressed by it's effortless cutting action... effortless and silent. Time will tell, but so far? all the signs are good.

I've only tried it once. It seems easy to use and cuts smoothly.

Good, but handles too short.
Yes, I recommend this
Spotted this instore whilst looking for a suitable opener for my son, setting up his first home. Price and quality ideal, but unfortunately handles would be too short for his big hands! Even I would struggle with them. Good range of colours too.

Does the job
Yes, I recommend this
As another reviewer mentioned the first thing I noticed about this was the handle is shorter than most tin openers, but you soon get over this - sharp and opens tins easily.

Does what it says on the tin
Yes, I recommend this
It’s cheap, opens can, and doesn’t look too shabby. What’s not to like?

Handle a little bit short
Yes, I recommend this
Has potential but it's early days as to whether it lasts. Handle is a little short.

Tin opener that does the job

Replacement for a fancier model that fell apart.
