concept good but could be better

No, I don't recommend this

I see what the book is trying to do and although a 5 or 6 year old may be able to grasp the concepts they wouldn’t be able to complete the exercises in the tiny space given to them. Five year olds don't have the fine motor skills to write in the text size required. For example, the book asks them to fill in the numbers in a tiny space on a clock or on a small ruler. The boxes to write the answers to sums are slightly larger but at 9 mm high a lot would struggle. Why not supply number stickers the kids could put into the squares or circles? Another example - four separate dot to dot images are squeezed on to one page – I’d rather see one bigger one for the 5-6 year olds I do however like that the pages can be just torn out as they are blank on the reverse, hence parents can select exercises for their kids based on ability.
