This item is suitable for use outside, but the mains adaptor needs to be inside or in a weatherproof outdoor socket. The outdoor socket should have a cover and a rubber seam to keep out moisture and be rated IP44. If you do no have an outdoor socket you can feed the cable into a garage, outbuilding, shed, or through a window.

Too good to be true
No, I don't recommend this
I can’t deny this tree doesn’t look good , however you just slot each piece together rather than screw and as the fitting is very loose the sections just swing around with the slightest of touch. Also after a few seconds of switching on the lights the plug starts to emit a high pitch tone , which drives you mad so sadly it’s had to go back. I did think it was quite cheap compared to others I’ve seen on the market and now I know why .

Really good likeness to a real Christmas tree
I was a little worried when I opened the box as it looked a bit plastic, but once I put it all together and got the tree up I was really pleased with it. The bucket is quite robust and heavy, so good for outside and it comes with the spikes too, if you are using it on the lawn. The lights were a little difficult to put together but that's just me to be honest, and the branches drop down lovely. I am truly pleased with it, I just hope it lasts 18 years like my last one.

Vintage style Christmas tree

We wanted slim Christmas trees but with a vintage style …. So imagine my surprise when M&S were selling them. And they went like hot cakes … luckily managed to buy 2. Very easy to put up as they come in 3 pieces, each pieces connect to the lights … and voila! Less than 5 minutes to put up! Heavy bases (pots) so they won’t fall over … extremely pleased. Well done M&S…

Absolutly love the tree, it’s giving Charlie Brown vibes which is exactly what i wanted, the lights are a perfect amount and looks very realistic, the only reason the tree isn’t a 5 star is because i wish they had to option of coloured lights too
