Ok firstly let me say a European 41 is not a UK size 8 shoe!!!! Having lived in mainland Europe and goes back at least twice a year the European 41 is actually a UK 7 & a 1/2. Hence having to send back what would have been a very nice pair of shoes.

UK 6 (mu normal), great fit and adjustable at 3 points. Comfy footbed ++. I could wear these all day. Perfect fit for me. Sturdy for walking in. Neutral colours to match just about any outfit. Well chuffed.

I really liked the style of these sandals with the strap being offset to the outside edge of the foot and also that the canvas straps were varied in the design printed on them. They were very comfortable to wear as the straps were all adjustable. True to size. Unfortunately I found that the fastening strap across the foot at the ankle was far too bulky for my liking and I felt my eyes were drawn to the bulk each time I tried them on. Therefore I decided to return then as I just couldn't get over the thickness of that strap which was caused by 2 layers of the velcro fastening and the shoe webbing.
