Textured Ponte Straight Leg Trousers

I was pleased to fit into a size 8! The leg length was perfect for my 5'3" height when I am usually in between short and long fittings. As I work from home, at a computer for long periods, I was very pleased with the comfort and warmth of the fabric. They go very well with long tunics . I don't usually buy pull-on trousers, but these are good because the waistband stays flat with no gathers. I like the sleek look, which you don't get with the usual zips, buttons and pockets. As others have said, they are a smart alternative to track suit bottoms.

Very smart trousers and easy to wash and tumble dry. So easy to pull on and off, which is ideal also for people who find it difficult to button up trousers ( I bought them for my elderly Mother who loves them) We would like to see the same in other colours too

Casual yet stylish, brilliant just right fit and no superfluous trimmings around the waist, always good for my age and figure!

At 5'.4 the new sizing for short length fitted well for me but these are a good 3" too long. As there is nothing shorter than short they go back. It's not up to me to get them shorthened. M&S sizing wrong again! Can we have a search category for 'pull up' trousers? It would help those who want them and those who don't

I would normally avoid trousers with an elasticated waist like the plague (as too "old ladyish" - even though most people would put me in that category!), but these fit and look really good on and are so easy and comfortable to wear. They go really well with the white linen shirt and black block heeled boots I also bought from M&S to go with them. Outfit sorted!

I always buy this style of trousers for work. Recently I have had problems finding the right style and leg length. I used to buy regular length but, with this pair of trousers, I find that short is a perfect fit. I am 5’ 3”. I would like to see the same trousers available in different colours.

Great price and they feel really nice on .I have some issues with M/S sizeing and theses are a 20 regular and they are ok .They look smart and will go well with lots of outfits .I am a 27 leg and they are just the right length.A really quality pair of trousers.

These trousers are smart and very comfortable. A good colour, as they match up with so many other colours.

Extremely pleased with these, thickness makes them suitable for winter, texture made them stand out, look forward to wearing them. Not yet washed so unable to comment regarding this. So pleased intend to order a second pair.

They were too tight, plus about 4 inches too long! M&S have lost there way in the sizing department, most short trousers are now too long!

Very pleased with these trousers - comfortable to wear - just pull on type. Pity they don't have pockets. Attractive pattern but time will tell if they snag as this would show on the pattern.

It is presentable and easy to wear

In my opinion, these trousers are really old fashioned looking and would not wear them. It is really difficult to buy anything from M & S now if you are petite. slim and elderly as your styles are not chic but in my opinion badly designed and poor fabrics. We seem to be placed in a category that spells "old lady". Most trousers and jeans are slim leg which look silly on elderly women.. I prefer straight leg all the way down. I have heard comments in store from other ladies similar to me.
