Best Christmas turkey joint I've had
Yes, I recommend this
This joint was really juicy and soft and tasted really great and is the best turkey I've eaten ever that wasn't a full blown full bird that my grandmother cooked decades ago. The skin didn't crisp up as much as I wanted but it was really tasty. Gravy with juices good too. Only wish it was free range, but I had less money to spend this year. I don't normally do reviews but this really did warrant one.

Worst turkey joint I have ever had
No, I don't recommend this
I have bought these turkey breasts for the last few years and they have always been excellent, however, this year was completely different. To start with, we couldn't understand why the instructions said it would cook in such a short time, compared to last year, but then we realised it was significantly smaller than last year. On Christmas morning we started to prepare it as per the instructions. On opening it, the turkey looked really unappealing- it was all brown and really didn't look good. We followed the instructions exactly, however I had factored in an extra 20 minutes cooking time just in case. After the stated time, I tested it with a meat thermometer, and it was nowhere near ready- but not to worry, I had an extra 20 minutes. 20 minutes on and it still wasn't cooked, and the outside was getting drier by the minute. After another 15 minutes it was finally cooked, so I left if for the specified 5 minutes. When I came to carve, the turkey was awful- very dry, apart from a small part in the middle (the bit that took so long to cook. Then , trying to serve it was another problem because it kept falling apart. All in all, the worst turkey breast I have ever had, and so much poorer than previous M&S ones. I have made a note for next year, not to buy this again.
