Very Disappointing
No, I don't recommend this
The photo is very misleading firstly the hem is no where near the knee or as the description states just above. Its way too short. I bought size 12 for room but it fits neat - not at all elegant. Secondly the fabric - should be weighty and luxurious this is lightweight and cheap, not at all drapey, maybe ok for a slip or an underskirt but not a Dressing Gown. The colour is not cream - no where near more like a dirty oyster colour. The only redeeming element is the embroidery which is a nice colourway and extensive throughout the piece. - Style over substance I think.

Depends on where you want to wear it......

It is quite hard to find a nice kimono even if you pay a fortune for it in one of the specialist lingerie shops so I was really pleased to find this. However, whilst the fabric is good quality and the embroidery is quite nice, and it has a lovely vintage look, I think it could do without the hard scratchy beading. If you want it for the bedroom only then it's fine but if you want to actually wear it around the house you can't, at least I can't. It just covers my bum and I am only 5ft 4" and I don't have a long body. Sooo disappointed as the one Rosie is wearing in the add is much longer. We are moving to a hot country so I wanted it for that but think it may give the neighbours too much of a thrill as I sit in the garden in the morning.

Ooh soo gorgeous

I had been "researching online" for a silk nightgown for months before this Embroidered Kimono Wrap cropped up at M&S. This kimono feels as luxurious to wear as it looks online. The weight of the fabric substantiates the overall glamorous elegance of the garment, and ensures it hangs in all the right places. The embroidered design is just sooooo beautiful. From a longer-term care perspective, I would have preferred no extra beading. If there were more colours available, I would've chosen ivory (rather than the pearl grey) for better co-ordination with my chemises. Value-for-money wise, this garment is terrific. I've been toying with potential alternatives which are easily 3 - 5 times the price of this M&S piece, and no way did they have the same level of embroidery or intricacy. Extremely pleased with my purchase and hope everyone gets one, even if I'm too selfish about keeping mine to myself to buy anyone else one this Christmas!!

I love this range and have collected several pieces from each collection, but this is just stunning. I can't stop staring at it and consider myself very lucky to own it. OK it's not the cheapest dressing gown out there but it is very special. Probably the most beautiful thing I own, please keep this range coming forever...!!
