Great style but too long
Great looking, bang on trend, wide leg casual trousers. Lightweight and comfortable in a linen mix that’s ideal for warm weather. Drapes well. Will wash well but need pressing. Liked the casual vibe with a drawstring waist (a working drawstring, not only for show) and ever so useful side pockets that do lie flat. Loving the classic narrow stripe design too, bought both the grey and camel stripe versions. The fit is loose around the stomach / hips yet isn’t baggy and disguises a couple of lumps and bumps. True to size although the cut is such it allows you to go up a size if you prefer a looser waist, hips and rear view. Marked down because the length is inconsistent - in that the short length was ordered for both the grey stripe version and the camel stripe version but they are different lengths. How can this be? The short length is disappointingly 2” too long, dragging along the floor. I’m 5’2” with a 28” inside leg but the dragging material means M&S need to offer the trousers in an extra short length too, which isn’t available. Essentially making us already petite ladies feel like miniature versions of ourselves - please note M&S this is not a feel good factor.

Bought two pairs to take on holiday to Morocco and they were perfect! Washed and packed well, didn't crease and were super comfortable and cool (in both senses of the word!). Going to buy in all colours. One star taken off because where the elasticated waist tie comes out at the front has already got a bit of a fabric pull but usually covered by T-shirt etc so not a big issue for me at this price point.

Excellent value summer trousers. Nice weight of linen. Comfy drawstring elasticated waist. Come up a little big. I am normally size 12-14. I was able to choose the 12 in these comfortably. I also went for the short length which was perfect . I am 5ft 4inches and wanted these to wear with flats. They come just past my ankle. Normally I would be a regular in trouser length but have found recently the short length in marks is better for me.

Really pleased with these classic pattern trousers. Very comfortable and super trendy for a 50+ lady. I misread the colour and thought they were navy & although dark grey I bought the navy broidery Tshirt to go with and it matches perfectly. Highly recommend. I bought regular length & Im 5”6🙂

At last.
At last a pair of trousers that fit my wife who is size 18(ish) and only 5ft 2ins tall. Extra short works but not available in many styles. Please make a man happy and produce more 18 xs.
