I am 5ft 6" and purchased size 24. Lovely long length as covers my bottom, which is always a bonus!. The sleeves are a good length and loose fitting (I find with some tops, sleeves can be of a tighter fit) Hangs away from the body and is good to wear for the colder weather. Only negative is the shape of the neck could be a bit smaller, so as not to show bra straps
