PETITE Sculpt & Lift Straight Leg Denim Jeans

Send for these jeans to be delivered to store via website. This was only because as usual the stores never have what you want in the size or colour you want. The jeans on the website were in the 'petite' section, but there is nothing on the website to give you the leg length compared to 'standard' jeans. The size 12 (my usual size) were too big and too short (I normally get size 12 short, but as usual you need to try on every individual pair as sizing is not consistent like it once used to be). Also...what is it with adding bells and whistles to all their clothes. Spotted a nice looking natural colour linen 'tee' top in Stratford Upon Avon M&S. Almost bought but the back had a zip (purely for decoration!) on the back. How dated is that! Why? Come on M&S, lets get back to nicely designed and well made classics with style (think Jaegar, Cos and Jean Muir).

The sizing seams to have changed..I am petite 5'2", usually buy M&S size 10 short and fit perfectly. Unfortunately, these are at least 1" shorter in the leg and I had to return them.

I have worn M&S size 8 (short) jeans for years. This pair of jeans was not only too short, but way too tight for me to do the zip up comfortably. Very disappointing experience, has put me off buying M&S jeans.

The material is different from the ones I already have. The black ones I originally purchased are a nice jean material & the white ones are similar, however the new black ones are a much lighter material - good for summer, but not so great for winter.

... until they sort the sizing out! I bought these jeans in black some months ago and thought I would get some blue denim ones. I ordered the same size, but when they arrived the waistband was 2 to 3 inches smaller than the ones I already own! Ridiculous! I really like this sculpt and lift style with the narrow legs, but M&S seem to have put these in the sale and don't appear to be doing them any more. I went into the Norwich store to look for them today and the place is just full of wide leg and bootleg jeans. What are they thinking of??

I bought these jeans in black and was pleased with the fit so I ordered them in indigo. I could tell as soon as I unpacked them that they were too small - more then an inch smaller on the waist, hips and thighs. The bottom leg measurement was the same size! Thought I would order them in the next size but now they aren't available.

Fabulous. I wish I had ordered them before, as the black and indigo are out of stock. They fit so well, I'm just under 5ft and are so comfortable. Please M&S can you restock ASAP it's very difficult to get jeans for petite woman.

Ordered online.Prompt delivery.Have a pair in normal size 12 short length.They are too long!They fit fine everywhere else.Decided to try petite for even shorter length.Length is fine hooray! But the waist & hips are at least 1.5 inches smaller than the standard size.In order to make these fit I will have to order a size 14.Time was when 12 short fitted perfectly.I haven't shrunk what s going on with M&S sizing?Nice fabric but very dissatisfied .Let down again by M&S again.Is anyone listening?Returning to store

I purchased these jeans the fit is fine but I bought black and the material is awful it picks up every bit of dust fluff etc. I have purchase my jeans from you over the years and these are the worst quality I have ever bought. I wish I could return them not sure if I can?

Was rather sceptical having seen such bad reviews about these lift and sculpt jeans but wanted an indigo straight leg jean so thought would take a chance & order on line as not found in store. I had previously tried the standard fit on in store, but didn't feel right. Took advice from others and although only 5'1" ordered the petite standard fit. When it arrived I nearly didn't bother trying on as the size 12 looked more like a size 8. But lo and behold, I got in them and they were perfect. Yes, they are very stretchy and a bit more like a skinny than traditional straight. But very slimming, perfect length with heeled boots, come up to waist with no gaping (probably a first) and so, so comfy! Wore all day and felt great.

These jeans are not straight leg jeans, they are jeggings. I purchased a pair in both blue and black and found them extremely restrictive. Although they started off looking a good fit, both pairs managed to become incredibly baggy at the knees very quickly. I found the rather rough fabric very uncomfortable and couldn’t wait to peel them off.

These jeans fit beautifully and certainly improve one's shape yet don't feel too restrictive like some styles. Wonderful not to have to shorten them. They are just the right length for me (I'm 5' 1 ) . Material feels nice too and I really like the straight leg shape.

I bought a pair of these jeans a few months ago in a regular fit, short leg length. They fitted really well & retained their shape, but surprisingly were about an inch too short; I am only just over 5ft tall and this never happens to me! This time I bought them in a petite fit, standard length. As I had a pair I didn't think for one minute there would be a problem so I removed all the tags and put them on. This time the length was perfect but they are so tight around the waist they are too uncomfortable to wear and I cannot return them. Surely it's not too much to expect a size 12 to be a size 12, whatever you buy, but even more so when the style is exactly the same
