This really is a beautiful coffee table. It is very sturdy and well made and the drawers are really useful for storage as well as adding interest. The natural wood is lovely and the colour (I ordered it in cream) means it fits in anywhere. It has really lifted my living room and I am thrilled with it.

Water Damaged by spilling a glass of water !

I am absolutely god smacked, this is now the second review i have written the first seems to have been removed from by M&S. We have several pieces of furniture in this range, added a coffee table and two side table to our collection, which was delivered in July 2018. The first week of using this table we knocked a glass a water over which was stood on a placemat. We wiped the water off immediately but it left a water mark on the coffee table why we was wiping the water up we stood the glass that had been knocked over on the table. The wood has gone white and lifted and cracked where the water was spilled and a ring where we stood the wet glass. We contacted M&S immediately it took them until the middle of September to send someone out to look at the damage. He was unable to rectify the situation and sent his report off to M&S. We heard nothing I have had to chase M&S for a reply . This afternoon 3rd October we received a phone call from M&S HQ saying the report says we misused the coffee table and they will not be doing anything. How can placing a glass of water on the coffee table be miss-use? We now have been advised by M&S to contact the furniture ombudsman if we wish to take this matter further. None of the other furniture has done this and some of it over three years old. The coffee table has a totally separate finish and colour to the coffee table. This is certainly not the service or response we expect from M&S .

Whilst this table is very well made the colour is supposed to be cream and yet it is more off white than cream. Going to have to paint it or pay £50 to return it

Bought this to match the nest of tables. Although think its expensive even with the 20% discount I am very pleased with it. It is a beautiful piece of furniture.
