Missleading sound

I bought this toy for the sound… I imagined that when the child places the puzzle piece on the correct animal, it would make the sound of that animal. But I was disappointed… it doesn't serve its purpose at all. Even when my child places the puzzle piece in the wrong spot, the music still plays.

This is the 6th sound puzzle I’ve bought for my 20 month old granddaughter and she loves it. We set it up for her at the dining room table and it works consistently well and holds her attention for quite a while. It’s one of the first things she looks for when she visits!

Sound playing is not consistent

The need for truly bright light to have the music play is annoying. Where the children are playing is not always in perfect light conditions. Also turning off the puzzle is recommended when not in use but the placement of the on/off switch on the back of the puzzle is also annoying. To check if it is turned off you have to turn the puzzle over and all the pieces fall out...why not have the switch on the front of the puzzle with the on/off words in easily readable lettering- not same color as the faceplate in tiny letters??? I am disappointed with these features of this product. Much is to be enjoyed with the toy if not for these design flaws

Splinters and cuts

Received this gift as a one-year-old birthday present. Easy to use and fun to play with, however the pieces that come out had sharp edges that cut my wife and gave me a splinter. We threw away the pieces and may have to throw away the base too if there's any further injury.

I purchased three sound puzzles for my identical twin granddaughters, but there is no sound on the farm animals puzzle that they have opened so far. Does this puzzle (and the safari one and the vehicle one) not have sound? Please contact me for obtaining a replacement of the farm animals sound. Or change your advertising. Or am I missing something here? There are no instructions on the package. Thanks for your help with this. Now I'm concerned about the other two puzzles that I'm holding for the next holidays. Linda Gbbs.

Please give me a call at 800 284 3948. I would love to speak with you and help you with this right away. Here are a few tips about our sound puzzles. Our sound puzzles are light activated. Once new batteries have been installed it is best to use your puzzle in a brightly lit room. When you remove a puzzle piece from the board you will see a little circle - that is the light sensor. Once the sensor has been exposed to light you will hear the sound when you remove a puzzle piece from the board of the Old MacDonald's Farm sound puzzle or replace the puzzle piece back into the board in the case of the Safari and Vehicles sound puzzles. I use this puzzle with my grandson who has autism and spina bifida. I love the sounds but wish that the sound would only activate when the puzzle piece is inside the form that conforms to that puzzle piece. it would be greater reinforcement for him.

Good puzzle, but Old Macdonald plays before any animal sound

I try to get my kids to mimic the sound, and then learn the names. I like the way the puzzle is made. I don't like the song that plays all the way through on every animal until it makes the animals sound. My kids lose focus before the songs half over, so it defeats the purpose.
