My First Xylophone Toy

Very well made of wood is colourful and sounds really nice, not like the tinny sound you get from the cheap metal ones. I have bought two for babies Christmas presents and had them sent to me in Australia. The second one arrived with damaged corners to the box it came in, but I think this was probably customs and not M & S's fault as the parcel had obviously been opened and taped up again. Contents were fine.

I can imagine my daughter keeping this toy forever, really beautifully made, would recommend. We're getting hours of fun out of it, even though she is only 4 months old!

It's a great pity that the middle key is either out of tune or, at least, has virtually the same sound as the key next to it. This means that even the simplest of childhood tunes can't be played on it. I know it's only intended to be used by young children, but even they can pick up a tune like Twinkle Twinkle Little Star if the instrument provided is up to the task. Otherwise, this would have been a lovely toy. Well made and attractively decorated.

Bought this a present for a friend's daughter who absolutely loved it. A colourful gift that will last a long time and give many hours of pleasure.

My husband first saw this displayed in one of your stores and a little girl was banging on it. "Just the job for Max" (our great grandson) my husband said but unfortunately the store only had the one on display. Our local store didn't have one either hence ordering it on line. It is for an Xmas present and I am sure Max will like it. What we liked was the sturdiness of it.
