Love these shoes!

Could not be happier with these shoes. Stylish but most importantly, super super comfortable. Not inexpensive, but to me totally worth the price!

"Heel lock" is not adjustable
Originally posted on teva.com
This is a preliminary review after living room try on. Toe box is great for a wider foot. The heel straps are a goofy design. From photos & marketing text, one would think they are velcro tightening adjustable. No, they are just superfluous. The laces connect to the front strap, which connects to a solid plastic triangle, which connects to the passive heel strap. The lacing force does not transfer to the heel, no way. Basically it looks like a stick & dirt catcher to me. But the fit is good, so I'll review again when put to a real test.

Wish they fit!! Way too narrow for wife feet. Reviews said "widest toe box" . Maybe for narrow feet not even close for EE feet. Wwaaayyy too narrow for EEE Feet. Wide toe box and all. Like I said they looked really nice, just too narrow

Heel slips

Wanted to like these shoes but ended up returning them. The heel keeps slipping and the side straps doesn't really allow you to tighten them beyond a certain point. Not sure why since tightening up around the ankles would probably eliminate heel slipping. What's the purpose of the back strap anyways? Guess I'm dumb but back strap doesn't tighten in any way. Does not move forward if you pull lace straps so what is the purpose? Thought it was for tightening the heel but nope...not at all unless I just couldn't figure it out.

Too much slipping can cause friction, leading to blisters, and we definitely don't want that for you. It is upsetting that these weren't right, but we hope you don't lose hope just yet! Our heel lock system works wonders to keep your foot secure and in place when you're in the correct size. Please check our sizing chart here: bit.ly/TevaSizing, and consider trying this model in a size down for a better fit and a blister-free journey.

Shoes are tight on the top of the foot. Heel slips out. Just not a good design.

No use in keeping a tight pair that doesn't hold your feet in place! It sounds like our Omnium 2 Leather would be a better option for you as they provide great traction for the trails, a back heel strap to ensure a snug fit, and an adjustable ankle strap and bungee to get the perfect fit on the top of your foot. Try them out by processing an exchange on our site: bit.ly/TEVAEXRT.
Finally found correct size after 3 tries.

I have difficult time because one foot is larger than the other. Womens medium width not wide enough so went to mens and took a few tries to find correct size. I think I found the perfect shoe and am anxious to have now that weather is turning sloppy.

This shoe hurts my foot and ankle.

I had high hopes because I love my sandals. But these shoes just hurt. And I don't know if I can send them back or not. They look new still. My heel does not stay in the shoe because the back of the shoe is so low. But this is a walking/light hiking shoe so I thought my foot should stay in it. And I am wearing the correct size. Also, this hurts across the top of my foot. I have to walk differently in these so my foot does not slip out and to avoid the pain, and then my calf muscles and foot arches end up hurting. I would LOVE to exchange this for something else. But I don't know if the company would do that? I bought it online from the Teva company.

You shouldn't have to change your walking style when trying out a near pair! We thank you for trying these out, but we recommend taking advantage of our 30-day exchange policy to get your pair back to us for another style you would enjoy more such as some sandals. You can begin our simple exchange program by heading over to our site here: bit.ly/TEVAEXRT.
I like Tevas, but would never buy this particular shoe again

Fits fine, looks good. I assume will wear ok. Can't stand the side straps which always fall off the shoe lace when tying up. Irritating, and for an outdoor shoe, trying to retie in inclement weather is not only a chore, but can be a safety issue.

I would buy these shoes again.

Actually, this is my husband's 2nd pair from Teva and he loves the comfort. Definitely waterproof is what he needs to walk the dog in the early morning. These shoes are perfect!

I'm training for a rim-to-rim hike of the Grand Canyon, and this shoe really fits the bill. Sturdy, grippy on gravel and rock, the shoes cinch down well and withstand good elevation changes without creating any blister hotspots. Thumbs-up, Teva!

Everyday shoes. Same size as purchased from Merrill. Tevas don't fit. Not apparent how to return them.

Bought for the hubby who has issues with ankle height boots. Great soles, seems to be a sturdy boot over the rocks. Big test to still come on the next hike.

There is a slight heel drop. I'm not use to it. I don't like it. Besides the heel drop, the shoe seems to be well made

Great shoe. Extra room in toe area. Nice gore tex and grip. The only bad part is a slight heel drop. I don't know why the heel is a little lower. You can feel where the heel begins to drop
