Floral Lace Skater Dress

I ordered two dresses to try as I'm between two sizes, but I only tried on the larger one and found it was too tight (no fastenings, had to be pulled on over my head, so wasn't easy to put on). As I'm only 5ft 2ins and the model was 5ft 8ins I thought the length would be OK, but it was far too short for me. Really pretty colour and style, and made of cotton so would be comfortable in hot weather, also it was lined in cotton as well. I was disappointed to have to return it for a refund. If the dress was a couple of inches longer, and looser fitting in view of having to be wriggled into, I think it would appeal to a wider range of customers.

I bought the cream dress and am seriously considering buying the blue one too - add a slim belt, some long boots and a pretty scarf and you have effortless elegance. This dress can be dressed up or down, is suitable for the office or a wedding with a smart jacket. It is soft to touch, generously roomy below the waist (great if you have a pear-shaped figure) and very feminine. I'm 5ft 5" and this dress sits slightly above the knee so looks great with long boots.

I bought this in the Ivory,in a 14(i am normally a 12,but wanted it looser), it fits well, is not too tight around the waist,good length on me(I am 5ft 5),and being made of cotton blend is so comfortable too. The sleeves fitted well without being too tight,and are unlined, which is a nice touch,as the rest of the dress is. It fitted well around the bust,didnt gape,(I am a 36B)and was comfortable on the back,too. I am really thrilled with it,and at the special offer price too, made it real value for money. I shall get a lot of wear out of it,and may even buy a smaller one for my daughter! The blue is lovely too!
