Cotton Rich Tapered Chinos

So comfortable theses trousers regular length size 16 and I love the colours

A smart/casual trouser that is flattering to most figures. I’ve ended up buying two pairs for work and they wash well and look good. 4 Stars because I had to exchange one pair as it had a twisted leg. About 20% on the rack shared this fault.

I really like the fabric and style but what has happened to the waist size. I wear M&S size 18 and have recently bought some of the Per Una chinos which are lovely but a little heavier. These are at least one size too small at the waist . I bought the next size, very reluctantly but they are so loose around the hips and upper legs that they look ridiculous so will be going back. Shame.

Lovely colour and perfect fit. I would certainly recommend these trousers i'm over 70 but always like to be smart.

Nice enough trousers, but, too tight across waist stomach bottom area , could do with a little stretch in material, ok for smaller sizes, but, from size 20 up far too tight..you need to go up 2 sizes ,but then too baggy from thigh down, disappointed, come on M&S - plus sizes does not mean dull boring bland , more colour better fit for plus sizes for ALL ages, over 50's are still alive and on trend too.

Good quality chinos. Come up small on waist with no stretch. Lovely colours. Good fitting, I needed to go up a size to fit waist but were still perfect otherwise. Can be dressed up. At 5ft 7 the regular are ankle grazers. More of a shiny crispy feel which looks good

Unusually, I read the reviews! I agree with all the comments on fit round the waist being reduced. A larger size was far too big. I finally settled on size 8 long because the waist comes higher but will have to shorten them as I usually buy short. Please sort out this apparent change in sizing asap.

These are smart and well fitting. I got them in the Long length as I am 5' 11" and they are perfect - just as shown on the model in the photograph. They are lightweight so not for wearing yet but will be perfect for spring/summer. I liked them so much I got them in the green too. M&S it would be really helpful if as well as telling us the models' height and the size they are wearing you also told us what length they have on - this applies to dresses as well as trousers.

Did not particularly like the shiny material only kept them as I’m going on holiday soon

Waist fits perfectly but hips are too big. It feels like I am wearing jodhpurs.
