Cord Midi A-Line Skirt

Love this skirt, the colour is perfect, the length is lovely, and it 'swishes' a little! I was worried that the hips may be too tight, but it is a generous fit. I would have prefered it as a more a line, rather than jeans style over the hips then tha a line flare, but happy to wear with big jumpers

I’ve always wanted a corduroy skirt but always felt they had no shape. Then I found this one. The shape is so flattering and comfortable. I am a size 6 and it fits perfectly. The quality is luxurious and warm. The colour is beautiful and can go with lots of outfits. Definitely a keep!

Love the cut and material of this skirt . It’s A line but not straight from the waist which is not always flattering. The skirts fits over the hips then there’s a bit of a flair. The material is good quality with a very subtle pattern. Good length. I went back and bought the navy one too. Too

I've worn the skirt quite a lot as it's a good heavy weight for the winter and navy goes with everything. I like the midi length and flared skirts are more flattering on me and comfortable. However, I'm not keen on the top half of the skirt so I'm keeping it hidden under my jumper. It's made just like a pair of cord jeans at the top with patch pockets at the back, side pockets at the front and a front zip. I hadn't expected this when I saw the skirt online - I assumed the flared shape started from the waistband but it actually starts from a horizontal seam about 10" below the waist - roughly a quarter of the way down my thigh. Because the top fits snugly like my jeans (luckily with a bit of stretch for comfort), I've had to go up a size to match my jeans size rather than my normal skirt size. I would have preferred a smoother line over my tummy, with a back or side zip and I can't see the point in back pockets on a skirt. This really looks and feels like a skirt tacked onto a pair of cut-off jeans. I presume it's a new fashion fad, but I'm not a fan.

I have had a black cord skirt in a very similar style for years and love it and wanted one in navy. This skirt is beautiful, soft, warm and beautiful shade of navy really pleased with it.
