FOR THE LOVE
OF BOOKS

It may be just a once-a-year event, but sometimes all it takes is one day and one book to spark a passion for reading

Hands down, my favourite activity with my twins is reading books. They love the stories, the adventures and the time spent together. Me too. Most little kids love books. And World Book Day on 1 March aims to encourage this passion by giving every child in the UK a £1 book voucher which they can swap for one of 10 World Book Day books worth just £1 (so you basically get a book completely free). The vouchers are distributed via schools, so look out for them at the bottom of their school bags, and are redeemable at your local M&S store. Happy reading!
