EMMA HARDIE GEL CLEANSER
As a fan of Emma Hardie Cleansing Balm, our guest beauty editor Tolani Shoneye was keen to try the brand’s new cleansing gel
This new product had a lot to live up to, given that the original Emma Hardie cleanser has fast become a bestselling icon, so I had high hopes for the sequel. My skin is oily and while thankfully this means fewer wrinkles later in life (a dermatologist confirmed this), for now I am constantly on the lookout for cleansers that help balance the oiliness without drying out my skin. I’ve been using the new Emma Hardie Moringa Light Cleansing Gel on its own in the morning and then as part of my double-cleanse routine at night. The gel turns into a lightweight oil on impact, thanks to the added almond oil and grapeseed oil, and it doesn’t require much massaging effort. To my surprise, my make-up just glides off – and I wear full-coverage foundation. The first thing I noticed was how my skin was left moisturised and super soft. I’m also impressed with the added moringa seed oil and peptides, which help protect skin from pollution. As a Londoner, this is appreciated. It’s fair to say that this is my new favourite cleanser.
