Our Single Grain Spaghettoni’s rough texture is ideal for holding sauces, like the lemony buttery sauce in this pasta al limone recipe. Swiss chard’s slightly earthy flavour adds a robust depth to this dish, as well as a vibrant boost of colour too.

step 1
Bring a large saucepan filled with hot water to boil. Season with salt and add the pasta (160 g). Cook for 12-14 mins, until al dente. Remove the pasta with tongs or slotted spoons, keeping the pasta water to one side.
step 2
Meanwhile, melt the butter (30 g) in a large frying pan on a medium-high heat. Add the garlic (1 clove), chard (200 g), pine nuts (20 g) and black pepper (1/2 tsp). Cook for 5 minutes, until softened.
step 3
Lower the heat to medium and add the lemon juice (1/2), shaking the pan so the sauce starts to thicken.
step 4
Add the pasta to the pan with a splash of pasta water, followed by the Parmigiano Reggiano (100 g). Using tongs, quickly toss until the sauce comes together and the pasta is nicely coated
step 5
Serve immediately with the lemon zest on top.
