Bring back these trousers for 2022!
Yes, I recommend this
So disappointed to see that these super boys cotton trousers are no longer available. They really have been the Best Buy so far. Comfortable, wash and wear well. Please bring them back.

Fantastic Pair of school trousers
Yes, I recommend this
These school trousers were fantastic for my little boy. Comfortable, washed well. I am really disappointed to learn they aren't available for this academic year (2022/23). Please bring them back M & S. No others come close!

Amazing school trousers. Sadly, rarely available throughout the school year.

Good cotton school trousers
Yes, I recommend this
Most trousers looked at are not 100% cotton; these are, which is brilliant for sensitive skin. Have just purchased the next size due to growth, previous size wore well over six months. They are definitely bigger than M&S regular trousers so need to purchase a smaller size. Only negative point (so only four stars) is that some of these trousers come with an ordinary washing label, and some come with a printed one, so no consistency and therefore we are unable to use name stickers with printed washing labels.

Great for sensitive skin, awful for durability
No, I don't recommend this
Whilst these don't irritate my son's skin, as per most of the reviews below, the wear on these is awful. We bought 5 pairs of trousers in September and all 5 now have holes in the knees - so on average for a 4 year old maybe 8 wears each set? They lose colour immediately and are impossible to iron. Really disappointing because we need non-polyester trousers but feels like a huge waste of money and very bad for the environment.

Terrible wear

Looked awful within first half term. Not fit for purpose.

Lovely trousers but not school trousers
No, I don't recommend this
Lovely trousers but screamed stain easy, look scruffy quick. Not resilient enough for school trousers. My 5 year old would last less than an hour looking smart in these. Not the best.

Great cotton school trousers
Yes, I recommend this
These cotton only school trousers are great for children whose skin won’t tolerate synthetic materials. My only regrets are that they aren’t in stock all year round and aren’t available in store to try on for sizing. Very sadly the cotton only school shorts seem to have been discontinued. Only misses 5 stars as colour seems to fade on the black ones, having said that they generally wear well and survive long enough to be handed down which is impressive.

Just great
Yes, I recommend this
Nice soft cotton fabric, lovely design, great trousers for every day. As my boy has a really sensitive skin, this is what I was looking for.

Brilliant breathable school trousers
Yes, I recommend this
We really don't like the teflon-coated trousers, but it's hard to find alternatives in breathable cotton that will be acceptable to the school. I don't usualluy write reviews but felt moved to this time as my daughter absolutely loves these. Soft and comfortable, and they look really good too. She cycles 10 miles a day in them so they need to be tough!

Nice idea, but poor quality
No, I don't recommend this
I have mixed feelings about these trousers. I like the idea of pure cotton, instead of the Teflon coating. They are soft and don’t irritate my son’s skin. The problem is they only looked good on day one. They faded after first wash and no amount of ironing is making them look smart again. I am afraid they won’t even last one term...

Cotton school trousers
Yes, I recommend this
They look very elegant and confortable. They fit really wel, they're neither narrow nor large. I particularly appreciate they are 100% cotton.

Terrible
No, I don't recommend this
I bought these school trousers for my son. Although they look relatively good, after one wash they have creased to the point where I cannot even iron them. The creases remain in the trousers with a slight white cast. I am so disappointed and would not recommend.

very long but waist adjustable
Yes, I recommend this
Coour grey a little diferrent from the usual school grey pants that i've bought from M&S. But material looks and feels very durable. Favric not thin at all. It is definitely soft. All in all, good buy just long for the age. Had to fold in the hem 3 times at the ankles.

Not school trousers
No, I don't recommend this
These are nice chino type trousers but not in school grey. My son wouldn’t try them on because the colour is so wrong.

Not happy
No, I don't recommend this
I bought 2 pairs of these for my autistic son, I only tried 1 pair on thought it was strange that they had rough seems and label but assumed it was just one of them things so cut the tags out then opened the second pair only to realise the 1st pair must have been labelled wrong (no labels softer seems) but because I'd took the tags of I can't return them
