Brilliant mahogany coloured medium sweet Madeira with intense dried fig, nuts and honey aromas and immensely satisfying warm flavours of caramel, candid orange peel and raisins.
This unique fortified wine hails from the subtropical volcanic island of Madeira. Produced from the dark skinned Tinta Negra grape, with the sweetness retained by the addition of fine grape spirit, winemaker Humberto Jardim, of renowned Henriques e Henriques, has aged the wine for 5 years in large American oak barrels to develop its tantalising flavours.
