I purchased the "Loose fit" version, as I despise the industry-wide trend toward narrower men's trousers - I like the decades old traditional fit and not the "new regular fit" or other slimmed down versions. The "loose fit" cut is one inch wider in the thigh / two inch larger circumference than traditional cut trousers. These chinos are excellent value for money and, on arrival, feel thicker and more canvass like than usual, but I'm sure they will soften with wear and washing.

Really nice fit; pleasantly roomy compared to the regular fit (I have large calves). Wish they'd been easier to find on the website

Excellent fit and great value for money. Only dropped a star as the slightly velvety finish picked up paler lint in the wash so advise to take more care than I did with the laundry. Sure to be a firm favourite for years despite this.
