Amazing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son was so happy when this arrived! It was straight out the box and built up ready to play. It’s very easy for kids to build and the instructions are straight forward give or take a little help for an adult. It’s sturdy and strong too which is good as my son can be a little heavy handed. He had so much fun watching the spinners spin around and role play making his Lego figures go dizzy. I would recommend this to anyone with a Lego loving child.

Basic battling

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a new kind of lego for us as we usually have basic lego builds. Wasn’t quite sure what to expect but with Lego you can guarantee it’s going to be good - Mostly. The 2 figures are cool and although it’s a good little pack, we found it quite boring. It takes 4-5 minutes to build at best. The structure you compete to knock the dragon heads off is straight forward just maybe a bit fiddly trying to put the heads on without knocking the wall down. The outer case of the spinner comes off easily during battle. I personally had more fun just spinning it around the kitchen table than actually trying to battle. Packaging wise as long as you open the box properly it’s easily all packed back away inside neatly for storage

Two very happy boys!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Two very happy little boys with this set. They are already into things like beyblades, so this was perfect as it is so similar but they get to assemble it all themselves. The fun doesn’t stop once the building is complete because then they get to battle their spinjitzu against each other, which has provided so much entertainment!

The quality and uniqueness of this set is great. The only reason I did not give this five stars for the rating was because the spinners don't spun very fast, there isn't a confined space to keep them in to increase the chances of a collision battle. Kids still enjoyed them though.

New design - same game

The Dragon Spinjitzu Battle pack features two characters; Arin and Ras with their unique weapons and design. These new spinners; much like the OG ones released back in 2011 are designed to battle against each other. The main difference between these and the original is that the new ones feature these transparent tornado looking rings which you try and knock off your opponent in order to win. They also boast a simpler design which may be an upside or downside - matter of subjectivity. The spinners are placed into a mini buildable launch pad and with a push of a button, cause the spinners to rotate forwards. The set also features a mini battle shrine that has the movable dragon disks in gold. This is another good play feature as you can battle against your opponent to win the golden dragon disks which you can place onto your spinner and level up (I'm assuming). Best thing about this set must be the fact that these spinner rings are customisable - If you want to do a half red and half yellow combination then simply attach the desired piece onto your spinner. One downside is the lack of additional minifigures. Set no. 71823 Kai's Dragon spinjitzu spinner and no. 71824 Sora's Dragon Spinjitzu spinner features two figures per set (main character and a dragonian warrior/scout) and are both retailed for 9GBP. With this particular set retailing at 18GBP, it would have been nice to have two additional minfigures as well, seeing that one can get 4 figures and two spinners for the same price.
